Vrondados beach
Vrondados is a narrow strip of pebble beach located on the coast of the Aegean Sea in the coastal town of Vrondados. You can get to it by car in 5 minutes, since the beach is only 4 km from Chios. The beach area of Vrondados, covered with cobblestones, is a partially equipped beach surrounded by a pine forest. The entrance to the sea area of the beach is flat, the surf is soft, the water is clean and transparent, the bottom is stone. On the beach, visitors are invited to rent sun loungers, cafes and eateries work.

The beach provides all the conditions for a relaxing beach vacation. There are few tourists, partially organized infrastructure, beautiful nature. Due to its close proximity to local attractions, Vrondados Beach offers a great opportunity to spend time pleasantly not only swimming, sunbathing, water sporting, but also visiting windmills, a folklore museum, a statue of unknown sailor, Homer's stone, local cathedrals and churches, others natural and historical monuments.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
