Agia Anna beach
There is Agia Anna Beach next to the sporting Kalafatis, on the isthmus of a small peninsula. Named after the nearby сhurch, Agia Anna offers a calm and peaceful holiday by the blue waves under the warm Greek sun. This is a great choice for lovers of passive relaxation on a sun lounger.

Beach description
Agia Anna is a haven of calmness. Rows of umbrellas and deck chairs cover the narrow sand beach, with a rescue tower nearby. This small beach doesn't have any water sports centers like its bigger neighbors, but it can provide a great and calm atmosphere, essential Vitamin D and a smooth descent into water which is perfect for children.
There is little besides deck chairs, garbage bins and showers on this beach. The western part of Agia Anna has a bar-restaurant of the same name which has a great view on the beach and the sea. There are several hostels and hotels nearby where you can stay for a couple of days.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
