Agios Sostis beach
Agios Sostis is located in a hilly area in the north of Mykonos, in the Gulf of Panormo. This is one of the island’s calmest beaches, which is surrounded by cliffs and green hills. The turquoise water here is connected with red rocks and fine sand, creating a unique place in its beauty away from the noise and eyes of many tourists.

Beach description
Agios Sostis is a wide sandy beach with a smooth descent into water. This is the perfect spot for romantic meetings: couples will be attracted by the small amount of visitors, romantic atmosphere and a beautiful view of the opposite shore of Mykonos. Nudists occasionally visit this beach.
You can't call Agios Sostis the most developed beach, but if you fell hungry, a tavern north of the beach is open for everyone. But please take note that the tavern is small, so you'll have to wait in line in order to book a table. There's no infrastructure on the beach itself, the nearest hostels are located 300 meters away from the shore. So you'll have to take care of umbrellas and deck chairs beforehand.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
