Elia beach
Elia is a huge sandy beach located in the southeastern part of the island. It is characterized by majestic cliffs, a bright blue sea, beautiful architecture, and happy people. People come here for a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, a lot of entertainment, first-class service. As for cleanliness - the beach is cleaned 4-5 times a day, and sea water is clear as crystal.

You can walk barefoot here as there's little to no pebbles and stones. High waves and wind are also non-existent because of the nearby hills. The descent, however, is smooth and the sea is very warm.
Elia is divided into two parts. The left part is for families, those who like sports and other ordinary tourists. On the right part you will see LGBT activists and nudists.
The Elia Beach offers such features as:
- comfortable deck chairs with umbrellas;
- different kinds of cuisine and beverages;
- calm atmosphere - no loud parties are held here;
- clean sand and a lot of plants;
- interesting people. The majority of visitors come from Greece and other EU countries.
A sea bus circulates from Platis Gialos and Ornos. You can also get here by bus from Mykonos. The most convenient way is, of course, taxi or car.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
