Beach description

The beach is covered in golden sand, boasting features such as a smooth descent, a soft sea bottom, and the absence of winds. The waves are almost non-existent, allowing for a serene experience. Moreover, the water is so clear that you can observe a variety of fish swimming below the surface.

Super Paradise is situated a mere 7.5 km from the island's capital. To reach this idyllic spot by bus, head to the southern Fabrika bus stop in Mykonos and board the vehicle marked 'Super Paradise.' Buses run from 11:00 to 22:00 at intervals of 30-60 minutes. Alternatively, you can hail a taxi for approximately 30 euros, rent a car for more freedom, or enjoy a scenic walk which should take between 1 to 1.5 hours.

The beach is an ideal destination for people with the following interests:

  • dancing to popular modern electronic hits;
  • savoring the finest dishes Greek cuisine has to offer;
  • engaging in lively conversations with friends over cocktails or cold beer;
  • making new acquaintances;
  • swimming in the crystal-clear sea;
  • soaking up the sun on the soft sand.

Super Paradise is extremely popular among the LGBTQ+ community and nudists. For those who prefer a more traditional beach experience, simply head to the left side of the beach, where a more conservative atmosphere prevails. Regardless of where you settle, all visitors are known for their politeness and kindness.

Important: If you're planning to visit the beach with children, it is advisable to avoid the afternoon and evening hours. During these times, the beach becomes crowded and the music grows loud as party-goers from across the island converge on Super Paradise. For a tranquil experience and the chance to admire the stunning views, aim to arrive at 8 o'clock in the morning or earlier.

When is the best time to go?

The best time to visit Mykonos for a beach vacation is typically during the summer months, when the island's weather is most favorable for enjoying its stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife.

  • June to September: This is the peak season for Mykonos, with July and August being the busiest months. During this time, the weather is hot and sunny, perfect for beach activities and swimming in the crystal-clear Aegean Sea.
  • Late May and early June: These months offer a great balance of pleasant weather and fewer crowds. The sea temperature starts to warm up, making it comfortable for swimming, and the island's services and amenities are fully operational.
  • September: As the summer winds down, September continues to provide warm weather with the added benefit of fewer tourists. The sea remains warm from the summer heat, making it ideal for those looking to enjoy the beaches without the peak season's hustle and bustle.

Regardless of when you choose to visit, Mykonos' beaches, with their golden sands and azure waters, promise a memorable beach vacation.
