Pahis beach

Pachis is famous for its warm and clear waters of bright turquoise colour, in which a huge number of fish live. Another decoration of the beach are the green mountains, surrounding it on 3 sides. Finally, on the very coast of the sea, lush pine trees grow, giving coolness and a wonderful aroma.

The Pachis has the following peculiarities:

• soft sand and shingly surface, on which it is possible to walk barefoot;
• smooth depth increase (it begins in 15-20 meters from the coast);
• calm weather and almost complete absence of waves;
• large size - there is always free space here.

Pachis is popular with families with children, honeymooners, the elderly and couples in love. Among its guests residents of the EU prevail.

The distance between the beach and the island's capital exceeds 37 km. It is possible to get by private transport, taxi or a rented boat.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
