The beach is located in the southeastern part of the island, 26 km from the city of Thassos. The nearest settlement to the "paradise" coast is Kinira, which is 2 km from it. By the way, it is possible to get here by public transport, and after that - walk to the beach.
But keep in mind, that it will be necessary to go down (and then go up!) to the beach along a steep dirt road, so it’s better not to take too much with you. Especially, on the beach there is where to eat and refresh with a cool drink.
If you go by car - at the top (before the start of the slope) to the beach, there is a large parking lot. Even though Paradise Beach is a crowded place, there is enough parking space for everyone. Although some risks even to go down to the beach itself by transport. But keep in mind, that only crossovers and jeeps can overcome this route.
The beach is very clean. This concerns both water and sand. The latter has a light shade, so for this, as well as for small grains, many vacationers compare it with flour. There are no mixture of rocks (even small ones), so it is very convenient to walk barefoot along the beach and there is no risk of injuring yourself on the bottom.
Since Paradise is located in the bay, the water is always very warm and is warmed well already at the beginning of the season. The coastline is shallow. It is possible to calmly go forward 60-70 meters, without worrying about the fact, that the depth will fall. Therefore, there are always a lot of people on the beach, most of whom are family people with children.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
