Trypiti beach
Tripiti is a sand and pebble beach located in the southern part of Thassos. It is surrounded by majestic cliffs, large trees and exotic shrubs. On its territory there is a bar, apartments for tourists, a first-class hotel, a volleyball court, a pool and showers. From Greek, "Tripiti" is translated as "place of holes." This name is due to the large openings in the rocks that formed under the influence of water.

The most popular areas of the beach (places near bars and loungers) are dotted with golden sand. Other territories of Tripiti are covered with shingle. At the bottom of the sea stone slabs prevail.
Useful information: renting a lounger or buying a drink at the Blue Dream Palace Hotel gives the right to use the local pool for free. Along the coast, it is possible to catch free Wi-Fi from hotels.
The beach is characterized by a smooth depth increase. There is practically no strong wind or large waves. A large number of fish live in local waters.
Tripiti is popular among young people, couples in love, divers and fans of passive rest. Among its guests residents of the EU prevail.
Near the beach there are more than a dozen hotels, a jewelry store, grocery stores and numerous bars. The main attraction of this place is the through bay - a small cave, located among the picturesque cliffs.
It is possible to get to Tripiti on foot, by taxi, bus or by personal transport. The town of Limenaria is located 2 km from the beach.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
