Although Gizzeria Lido is perfect for kitesurfing beginners, close to it, on another beach called Hang Loose Beach, international competitions in this sports are held in July. Winds in Gizzeria blow from April to September, and a convenient bay with many-kilometer beaches gives a possiblity to train with comfort, without any risk of collisions or breakage.
It is a place for young people that attracts tourists with its parties. Sand beach has good infrastructure. Everything importnat is available here, and when there is no wind, you can enjoy other water games.
From here, you take take a small ship for a tour to Aeolian Islands or along the shore for a 4-hour sea tour. Routes to mountains that go deep inside the peninsula for 4 km, start here.
