San Lucido beach

All beaches are different in San Lucido: sand and pebbly, with sand on the central beach. A narrow beach band stretched along the city wall. Lines of umbrellas and sling chairs are situated on it. Beach rescuers are on duty, and all the required infrastructure is present. Sea entry: pebbles, sometimes very large, so you need beach shoes. Due to stone breakerwaters, water here is calm, and no waves appear. Water is shallow by the shore, so this place is selected by families with children, even despite stones in water.

The old city descends right to the sea which is very convenient - it's not a long way to cafes, restaurants and sights. Hotels with the cost of accommodation from 30 to 100 Euros per night are located close to this place. But there are also more expensive and comfortable hotels at a price of 300 Euros per night.

In the city, there are beautiful cathedrals, Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola, and in the neighborhood, Santa Maria Monastery.

When is it better to go

In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.
