Amantea beach
Amantea is a calm beach by the large city with the same name located on a hill in the region of Calabria, in the southern part of Italy. The beach is composed of equipped and wild areas. Not far from the beach, there are located old ruins of Rocca Castle in the Old Town; in the same place, there are many medieval temples open to everyone. Saint Bernardino Church built in the 15th century has a stunning facade decorated with ceramic cross-shaped plates; inside, you will see the marble statue of Virgin Mary created in the 16th century by the sculptor Gagini.
