In the resort neighborhood, there are many splendid old and modern mansions, ruins of patrician villas and temple structures of imperial Rome era. The wide and long coastline, surrounded with rocks, is creeky due to numerous bays — Torre Ruffa, Trotta, Tonicello, Turiano, Torre Marino.
Ricadi beaches are covered with fine white and golden sand with small rocky areas. Clear transparent water cannot hide the details of firm sand and rocky bottom. Depth starts several meters away from the beach. Tourists with children should take special caution.
Most people on Ricadi beaches are Italians and tourists from Western Europe. From early June to September, it is rather crowded, but it is rather easy to find a free place. In September, it is still hot, and minimal water temperature is +25°C, although there are much less tourists already.
When is it better to go
In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.

It also has all kinds of water games — diving, snorkeling, windsurfing. You can rent any water equipment, boats, motor boats, catamarans, yachts. You can freight a vessel you need directly by the pier.
