Small fish swim in water, and they slightly bite your legs while you are standing in shallow water. There are many trees around: pine groves, palm trees, and underwood.
The most famous sight of Sellia Marina is the Aragon Castle located on a sandspit protruding far away into the sea. The evening castle illumination looks very romantic.
The famous ski resort is located in the same area. So, Sellia Marina is a place not only for active beach pastime but also for active mountain recreation.
You can get to Sellia Marina from Lamezia Terme International Airport by electric train to the station Simeri Crichi. Then, you have to walk at least quarter an hour on foot.
