Soverato beach
Soverato beaches of the small resort town in the quiet haven occupy several kilometers of the Ionian Sea coast. The resort, conditionally divided into two large zones, Soverato marina and Soverato Superiore, includes the beaches of neighboring towns and villages. The entire coastline is a snow white sandspit shaded with luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation and majestic rocks.

Soverato beaches are characterized by clean sand surface, even sand and pebbly bottom and good infrastructure with deck chairs, umbrellas, washing cabins, and water closets. Diners, cafes, restaurants are open almost everywhere.
There are all conditions for recreation with children. Bottom is well-visible through transparent water that is heated to +28-30°C. A kid can safely play in sand, swim in the sea, or relax under the sun. Soverato has many places attracting kids, including the Oceanarium and Santicello Botanic Garden.
Most beach goers on Soverato are Italians from all over the country. Rather a large number of tourists, with our fellow nationals seldom met around them.
When is it better to go
In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.
