La Push beach

Located on the Pacific coast of the United States in the northwestern part of Washington state. It's a part of the Olympic nature Park, protected by the state. The coastline is divided into three parts-The First beach, the Second and the Third.

Beach description

The First is the most accessible and lively. The coast, curved in the form of a horseshoe, is covered with small pebbles and giant trees of bizarre shape carried out by the ocean. It is surrounded by picturesque cliffs where sea birds nest. Perfect place for surfers, fishermen and picnickers on the seaside. One of the few beaches where bonfires are officially allowed. A few meters from the coast provides convenient parking.

To get to the Second beach, you have to walk about a kilometer along a forest trail. The path is simple, the descents are equipped with steps. The beach is sandy and the longest in La Push. It's surrounded by rocks that "sing" when the wind blows in a certain direction The forest fills the air with divine aromas, and the singing of birds in combination with the rustle of the waves is calming. From the coast offers excellent view on the Islands scattered in the ocean, you can watch the games of dolphins and sea lions.

The Third beach is the most remote and sparsely populated in La Push. It's also accessed by a scenic forest trail, sometimes quite slippery due to the humidity on the coast. The coast is surrounded by bizarre rocks and covered with fine sand mixed with shells. Driftwood, brought a coast at sunset resemble mystical characters, no wonder

There were shooting some episodes of the fantastic saga "Twilight".

When is the best time to go?

To lay off on the beaches of the mainland, it is best to come in the summer, when a sufficiently warm temperature is settled for swimming. Places like Florida or the Hawaiian Islands are comfortable all year round.
