Useful information

  1. The parking lot doesn't have enough room for everyone and, aybe, this insures the beach from being too crowded. A parking lot by the beach offers only 90 places at a price of $ 12 per day but, as a rule, they are occupied already in the morning. If you miss your chance to take a place there, the best option will be a parking lot on the side of the Pacific Highway, but in this case, you will have to take a long walk to the beach.
  2. You can rent a board on this beach at $30-40 per day, and surfing classes - $125 for 1.5-hour lesson which includes the wetsuit and the boat rent.
  3. On this beach, you can get a good take from the Pacific Ocean – local fishermen take sea bass and halibut the most frequently.
  4. The beach is subject to frequent storms, so, if you are an unexperienced swimmer, better stay closer to the coast if high ocean waves are forecasted.
