Moonstone beach
Located on the West coast of California in the neighborhood with the small town of Cumbria. The beach is the main attraction of the local places thanks to the semi-precious mineral (Moonstone), which is found among the colorful pebbles covering the coast.

Beach description
Moonstone Beach is a one and a half kilometer coastline consisting of several bays separated by small rocky headlands. Along the beach stretches Moonstone Beach Drive-a wooden promenade, which is nice to walk slowly along the coast, enjoying the clean ocean air and magnificent scenery. It is equipped with gazebos and benches for relaxation, as well as a bicycle path and special ramps for wheelchair users. There are numerous shops, cafes and restaurants along the promenade. There is a parking lot and several special "pockets" for parking.
Like most West coast beaches, Moonstone Beach is not the best option for a comfortable swim due to the rather cool water temperatures and high waves. But you can wet your feet or even completely plunge on a sunny day in one of the natural marine pools in which water lingers after the tides.
