Lagada beach
Lagada is one of the best beaches in Milos, ideal for families, including with young children. It is located in the northern part of the port of Adamas. You can get to Lagada in just a few minutes by walking along the boulevard.

Beach description
Lagada Beach is a spacious sand site surrounded with small rocks. The bay in the beach area is shallow, with clear water and slightly sloping sand bottom. It's a comfortable place for swimming and sunbathing, enjoying relaxed vacation, playing beach volley-ball, walking along the beach. Visitors of this beach will appreciate the beautiful views of the sea and Adamas.
Lagada Beach infrastructure is represented by several tourist objects: fish restaurants and a hotel with a swimming pool but the beach area itself is non-equipped. Fishermans boats are often lashed here that adds more flair to the locality. Tamarisks growing on Lagada create natural shadow. The neighboring beach, Papakinou, equipped with sling chairs and umbrellas, offers more comfortable conditions for beach vacation.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
