Pahena beach
Pahena is a quiet, charming beach in the northern part of Milos. It is not very popular with tourists. But he will surely be liked by those who appreciate a calm beach holiday and seek solitude, privacy. Pahena Beach is located 3 km from Pollonia and 7 km from Adamas, it is not difficult to get to it by bus or car.

Pajena Beach is a non-equipped area covered with light fine sand. The sea in this are is shallow and clean, with smooth sloping water entry and sand bottom. Strong waves occur only in August when north winds blow. for the rest of time, the sea is calm, and rather suitable for swimming with children.
In spite of absent sling chairs and umbrellas, it is comfortable to have a rest here due to tamarisks bringing natural shadow. There is a parking lot and several hotels by the beach where you can stay for a night. Concerning all the rest, you should take care of your comfort, so don't forget about food, water, and beach equipment. Close to Pahena Beach, there are situated several more beautiful beaches, Pollonia and Kleftiko.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing.
