Beach description
The beach line in the area of Psati is a rocky area, and the beach has pebble covering with the impregnation of large boulders. The sea bottom in the beach area is rocky as well, creating uncomfortable conditions for swimming and making a swimmer to enter water with his/her shoes on. Nevertheless, due to beautiful views and calm waters, Psati uses high popularity among kayakers. Moreover, the beach is full of interesting caves provising wide possibilities for exploration.
Psati beach has no tourist infrastructure, so guests have to bring with them all the things they need on the beach. This, in its turn, makes the beach not crowded and suitable for people who value secluded recreation.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
