Bonita beach
Located in the north-eastern part of the Dominican Republic on the Samana Peninsula, a little west of the popular resort of Las Terrenas. The name of the beach is translated from Spanish as "Beautiful", which is fully true.

Playa Bonita is located in a cozy, crescent-curved bay, sheltered from strong winds and treacherous currents. Due to this, there are no destructive storms, and small rhythmic waves will appeal to both families with young children and extreme sportsmen. For fans of outdoor activities in the eastern part of the beach surfing and diving schools are organized, as well as a rental center for the necessary equipment. There you can ride on water attractions and rent a motor boat, kayak or catamaran.
The western part of the beach is calmer and serene - here a few vacationers prefer to lazily bask in the sun or chill in cozy restaurants under the shade of palm trees. A promenade is organized along the coast, where hotels, shops and souvenir shops are located.
When is it better to go?
In summer, tropical rains and typhoons – are frequent guests in the Dominican Republic. Therefore, it is better to go there in winter, from November to March, when the air warms up to a comfortable 24-30 degrees, and the weather is dried up.
