Beach description

The tourist center of Sosua has been booming since the late 70s. Apart day-time beach pleasures, tourists get a night variety of services. During the day, banana boats and jet skis, fishing boats and glass-bottomed excursion boats cut through the waves. The usual sea tours get an extra flair during night dives in the area of coral reefs and sunken ships.

Countless bars and restaurants provide languished campers with food and cold drinks. Closer to night, night clubs' music become louder, people flock there to have fun, dance and drink spirits. Bars are open until the morning, many visitors meet the dawn not at the counter where their night began. Authorities are trying to fight the evil that accompanies the cheerful popular resort: alcotourism and sextourism.

Shores are full of diving schools, tours and boat rentals are offered. Diving-lovers are attracted by unusually clean water. The peculiarity of the underwater relief is that the tops of the local reefs are located near the water surface, which is very convenient for both divers and those who observe marine life from a boat.

Safe for small children: no waves, shallow shore, with a velvety yellow sand. There is a lot of shade under almonds, palm trees and sea grapes.

Conveniences:

  1. Local sales point owners are very neat.
  2. There is a parking lot, but it fills quickly.
