Lefki beach
Lefki is a tiny beach located in the western part of the island of Elafonisos. It is sheltered in a small harbor, sheltered from the winds and powerful waves. It is surrounded by majestic cliffs of brown color and sand dunes.

Beach description
The local sea is very shallow. To reach the depth, you need to walk at least 20 meters from the water, therefore, Lefki will be comfortable for both adults and children. There is a marine streamer near the beach. It is the best view of the local cliffs and sea from here. This beach cannot boast of infrastructure: the main audience here is fans of camping and wild tourism. However, at a lunchtime, you can enjoy your meal in the cozy tavern, where traditional Greek dishes are cooked and tourists are treated with beer.
The picturesque church, decorated in traditional Greek style, is near the beach. It is located on a small but wonderful island. There are beautiful iconostasis and ancient paintings inside the church.
Lefki beach will be appreciated by people who want to rest in the surrounding wildlife without fuss and noise. Fans of comfort and gourmet delicacies are advised to choose another resting place.

When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
