Agios Thomas beach
It is located in the southern part of the island, near Trapezaki Beach and the village of Karavados. It is small, but very cozy and picturesque. It is surrounded by rocks and low hills covered with southern pines and agaves.

Beach description
The beach surface is sandy, and descending into water is smooth. You can climb down via a ladder or dive from rocks and boulders. Underwater swimming enthusiasts will be fascinated by the variety and unique nature of the underwater world. Do be careful, as there are sea urchins near the shore.
The beach, however, is quite crowded, and there are no umbrellas or sunbeds available. Making your way to the beach is also complicated, as you'll have to take a steep path from the parking lot. You can leave your car near a small Orthodox chapel.
Two decent restaurants, where visitors will be able to try local cuisine and enjoy music while admiring the amazing views, are located above the beach.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
