FROM May to August, rare sea turtles lay eggs on the edge of a beach called Munda, and if you are lucky, you can even watch tiny turtles. Therefore, there are no noisy water attractions, loud music and other familiar attributes of beach recreation in this place. Tourists should also take care of umbrellas and backings. There is a small snack bar on the beach where you can slightly eat and quench your thirst, while the nearby shops and taverns are located in the village of Catelios, a ten minute walk.
A convenient highway leads directly to the beach, which is supported by free parking. Therefore, to find a convenient place for the car, especially on weekends, it is desirable to come early,
the beach is as picturesque as the beach itself, so you can stroll through the surrounding hills covered with dense greenery and admire the scenery that opens from them.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
