Xi beach

Beach description
The beach surface is sandy, with clay rocks. Clay is regularly used for healing and cosmetic purposes, so you might see rows of "mummies" sitting on the shore and looking far away. Don't hesitate to join!
The descent is smooth, which is perfect for children. Small depth and low waves are ideal for those who are just learning how to swim. The tall shores make up several distinct bays that you can walk to while in the water.
As the beach is quite long, there are crowded zones and solitary spots. Overall, not a huge amount of people. And if you go far from taverns and sunbeds, you'll find yourself all alone on an empty shore of the island.
Getting here is easy - buses come here from Lixouri and Argostoli, and the ride will take from 10 to 40 minutes. You can also rent a car to drive here - there's a free parking lot near the beach.

When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.

And if passive rest is not for you, visit the water sport center that rents various equipment, starting from balls and nets and ending with free diver's and boat kits. You can use catamarans and other water rides.
Just on the beach, there is a bar serving cold drinks and snacks, and several cafes with not very wide range of meals - don't forget about that. There are a few stores just behind the beach along the road. All facilities here close at seven o'clock, so hurry to buy food and drinks before closure, if you wish to meet sunset in the romantic and satisfied setting.
