Erasmio beach
Erasmio is a wide organized beach on the coast of the Thracian Sea, 56 km from Kavala. It is a clean, well-equipped beach, lively but not crowded. Tourists who look for a rest from the crowds and bustle should give preference to Erasmio, this paradise was awarded the Blue Flag. There are the famous beaches of Maggan and Mirodato nearby.

The Neo Erasmio settlement is just A Short Distance from which a direct road leads to the beach, making it easy to reach. White sand Erasmio beach extends more than a kilometer. The entrance to the water here is gentle and smooth, and the transparency and purity of water served as the reasons for receiving the Blue Flag award. For lovers of fresh fish are designated places where it can be caught. The beach is surrounded by coniferous forests, where you can walk to the delta of the river Place. The cleanliness of its entire territory is carefully monitored.
Erasmio is equipped with free umbrellas and sunbeds, showers and urns. On its territory there is a couple of bars that the youth admired. Active recreation enthusiasts won't also be excluded: the net for beach volleyball is stretched to their delight.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
