Mirodato beach
Myrodato is one of the best beaches in northern Greece. This comfortable and well-equipped beach received the Blue Flag Award, is located near Skala Avdiron, 26 km from Xanthi. The peculiarity of Mirodato is its white sand shining in the sun, on which it is pleasant to walk and run barefoot. The beach will be a great option for relaxing on the sea.

The Wide sandy strip of Mirodato (its other name is the Avdira Rock) extends almost a kilometer in length. White sand, as felt like powder, covers not only the territory of the beach, but also the bottom, which gradually and smoothly gain depth, so parents can not worry about young children. The water is transparent and calm, strong waves are rare.
Infrastructure is developed at a high level: along with the necessary umbrellas, sunbeds, changing rooms and showers, there is a beach volleyball court, as well as the opportunity to rent an inflatable boat or a surfboard. Mirodato is a beautiful beach, suitable for all types of tourists, from single travellers or members of a family.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
