Molyvoti beach
On the northern coast of the Aegean Sea there is the Molyvotis Peninsula, on which several beaches are located. But only the largest of them is somehow equipped. Molyvoti Beach is a long, poorly organized sandy strip that will give you an atmosphere of peace and tranquility by clear sea water.

Molivotis Beach is covered with sand, as the beach bottom. The water entry is smooth, water is shallow by the coast, so novices in swimming and kids can safely have a rest here and enjoy sun and sea. The beach has no natural shadow: It is surrounded with hills, grass, and underwood, so you should remember to take your own umbrellas.
The beach is poorly equipped: A cafeteria is open in vicinity in summer season. There are no sling chairs or respective infrastructure here. So, tehre are always few visitors here: if you are looking for serene vacation in a quiet place, this feature will be an advantage for you. The asphalted road leading to the beach is changed by earth-road but you can still drive on it. Molivotis is a beach for those who love calmness, and privacy.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
