Vrasidas beach
Vrasidas beach, located on the cape of the same name, near the famous Ammolofi - one of the most beautiful places in the north of Greece. It does not seem that there are crowded tourist resorts nearby on this island of peace and quiet. Vrasidas is a great choice for privacy lovers even during peak season.

Beach description
It is not difficult to get to the beach: it is led by a road that then becomes dirt, but it is still convenient to go along it. Turn left – and in front of you are golden sands and blue Aegean sea. Vrassidas beach extends 200 meters in length, and on both sides it is surrounded by snow-white rocks overgrown with shrubs. Because of them, the waves on the beach are always calm, and there are no strong winds. The water is gentle and the water is shallow, which will be an excellent advantage for those who are just learning to swim. From a far you can see the city of Kavala.
There Is no developed infrastructure to Vrassidas: all that is here is a small tavern where you can escape from the sun at noon. All the rest will have to be taken care of by themselves, including chaise lounges and umbrellas. Do not forget to take with you the tube and fins: there are a lot of beautiful fishes there.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
