Agios Nikolaos beach
Agios Nikolaos is a beach located at the very tip of the Vasilikos Peninsula. It is named after the small chapel on the eastern shore of the bay. Agios Nikolaos is one of the most infrastructurally developed and equipped beaches of Zakynthos, where you will have a good rest with all amenities.

Beach description
Agios Nikolaos is a relatively wide sandy beach with rows of umbrellas and deck chairs surrounded by hotels and roads (don't confuse it with a harbor of the same name which is located in the north of Zakynthos). The life is truly in full swing here: besides all the necessities the beach offers a wide array of water activities: kayaking, windsurfing, riding boats. There is a rental store of sport equipment located in the center of Agios Nikolaos where you can arrange a lesson or two with an instructor.
The beach is popular among young people and families with children of all ages: a smooth descent and a slow depth rise make Agios Nikolaos an ideal destination for families even with young children. If you want some solitude, you can find a spot without deck chairs in the southern part of the beach.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
