Beach description
The beach is rather narrow, it has room for two rows of sling chairs and umbrellas. Sand on Kukla is gray but fine, pleasant for walking in bare feet. The water entry is slightly sloping, the bottom is clear, without sharp stones, or algae: all these features make Kuklu a suitable place for family recreation. The town of Agios Sostis is located very close to the beach, so sometimes Kukla can be crowded but not as much as the other, more popular beaches of the island.
the infrastructure is rather developed here, with the standard set of facilities: umbrellas, sling chairs (you can rent them if you are not registered in the hotel but came on your own), changing cabins, showers. You can enjoy fresh Greek food in local taverns and restaurants.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
