Porto Kaminia beach
Porto Kaminia Beach is located on the Vasilikos Peninsula (next to Argassi Beach), on the eastern coast of Zakynthos. Comfortable but not crowded, Porto Kaminia offers a relaxing break in the golden sand under the warm sun. This is a great alternative to the other crowded beaches of the island.

Porto Caminia is narrow and sandy, with smooth water entry and clear bottom where it is safe to walk without the special shoes. It cannot boast with good infrastructure but you have many ways to relax here: the beach is never too crowded. Porto Caminia has sling chairs and umbrellas taht you can use for free even if you are not registered in the hotels. The beach will suit parents with small kids due to its quiet atmosphere and safe conditions.
Beside sling chairs and umbrellas, there is no important infrastructure on Porto Caminia. Several taverns (one of them has tables right on the beach) and bars offer drinks and snacks to their guests. Hotels of medium and budget class are located by teh beach and along teh road leading to it. If silence and calmness are your wishes No.1, Porto Caminia is your perfect option for comfortable vacation.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
