Porto Azzuro beach
Porto Azzuro is one of the most beautiful and organized beaches in the southeastern part of Zakynthos. It got its name from a restaurant on its shore. This is a long narrow beach with rows of parasols and sun loungers, and you can see the green overgrown boulders under the water, against which you can take a lot of memorable photos.

Beach description
Porto Azzuro is a very developed beach in terms of infrastructure. You can find deck chairs and umbrellas, changing rooms, showers and even free Wi-Fi here. Sunbeds can be seen not only on the sand, but also on the grass, where you can hide from the heat under the shadows. The sand here is grainy and golden, and the sea bottom with a smooth descent is fully covered in sand, so you won't need slippers.
The most important infrastructure facility on the beach is, of course, the Porto Azurro Beach Bar Restaurant which offers many various Mediterranean meals to the visitors. Food and beverages are served straight to the beach. Thanks to the picturesque landscapes and well-developed infrastructure, Porto Azzuro is a popular place to hold wedding ceremonies.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
