Porto Limnionas beach
The picturesque Limnionas Beach has not only beautiful landscapes that are breathtaking at first sight, but also a warm sea, where you can swim and snorkel. It is beautiful and clean, but there is no shore, so holidaymakers can sit on flat stones and enjoy the beauty and grandeur of nature and the local places. This beach doesn't attract a lot of tourists as it's hidden in the bays, so not every visitor will find a way there. You will need to rent a car to get here. Drive through the Agios Leon village on the road that leads west from the mountains right to the parking lot. The infrastructure isn't developed here, no conveniences for the tourists are available so you won't see any families with children on this beach. Limnionas is popular among lonely travellers and young visitors who prefer calmness and quietness. The atmosphere here allows to travel to a different dimensions where time moves slowly and where the water, sea air, mountains and nature are all available just for you. When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
