Apollo Beach is a reservation zone from several tens of coastlines situated 5 km away from Tampa city. It is famous for its clean transparent water of emerald color, thick deciduous forests, clean air, and impeccable ecology. It also has the other advantages:
- the large size - several tens thousand people can stay here. Room is left even on popular holidays;
- presence of desert places where you can take sun baths naked or have private time with friends;
- numerous island accessible even by unexperienced swimmers. They are perfect for sunbathing and picnics;
- large parking lots in different parts of the reservation area;
- perfect silence without any traffic, concerts, or parties.
Apollo Beach is characterized by smooth depth increase, small waves, and tender fresh wind. Local shallow wateris perfect for family recreation. There are also good conditions for surfing, snorkeling, and hiking. The most active travelers explore hidden bays and wildwood.
The local tourist season lasts for the entire year. The best time for visiting Apollo Beach is spring and autumn. Te air is heated to forty degrees in July and August. However, shadow of trees or sun umbrella will hide you from sun.
When is it better to go?
To lay off on the beaches of the mainland, it is best to come in the summer, when a sufficiently warm temperature is settled for swimming. Places like Florida or the Hawaiian Islands are comfortable all year round.

Infrastructure
There are no large hotels on the territory of Apollo Beach reservation area. There are no importunate merchants, crowds of drunk people, and other "delights of civilization" here. The closest hotel is situated in the neighborhood of Tampa.
Although, there is still some infrastructure - the following establishments are open near the beach:
- restaurants of Italian and European cuisine;
- bistro, Irish pub and meat pavilion;
- bank branch;
- store for sea vessel owners;
- food kiosk;
- pharmacy.

Apollo Beach has very high fines for unauthorized garbage disposal. Throw a sweet-wrapper into a trash can in order to save your nerves and money. On the reservation territory, the sea-cow observation center is located. You can get here by taxi or private transport.
