Duck beach
This is a small resort village which is located in the district of the city of Dare in North Carolina. Here you will see colorful and picturesque houses, cozy souvenir shops and restaurants. The local beach is a sandy area with exposed rocks, so it's better to take with you comfortable shoes. The entrance to the water is also rocky, so it's better to help kids every time when descending into the water.

This is calm and peaceful place concerning to the social component and the weather. Duck Harbor Beach is protected from the Atlantic ocean, so the sea is calm here, and the wind is surprisingly weak for the Atlantic coast. There is always a place on the beach even if you want to roomily settle a large company near the bank. And there are a lot of such companies in the evening as it's a place with wonderful views of the amazing ocean sunset. By the way, you can take four-legged friends with you. There is no ban on animals entering the beach. And also here you can see fur seals close to you and make funny memorable photos. Probably this is a beach for contemplation of nature beauty than for swimming and sunbathing.
When is the best time to go?
To lay off on the beaches of the mainland, it is best to come in the summer, when a sufficiently warm temperature is settled for swimming. Places like Florida or the Hawaiian Islands are comfortable all year round.
