Provincetown beach

This city is considered to be a bohemian resort as it has a lot of luxury boutiques, restaurants and art galleries which give the resort an appropriate look. It is located in the Northern part of Cape-Cod in Massachusetts. You can get here on the mainland by route 6 (final stop), ferry x from Boston and it'll be rather faster in peak season, as it'll be possible to avoid traffic jams, and also by plane.

Beach description

Provincetown has several beaches. Race Point Beach is the purest, wide, endless beach with strong wind, huge waves, countless dunes. Many people notice that the water here is cold and it won't satisfy couples with children. Herring Cove Beach is the most equipped and popular in the city. The water is warmer here than on the Race Point Beach. There are almost no crazy waves here, so this place is comfortable for the rest with children. The right side of the beach is provided for family holidays, while the left is provided for LGBT people. Long Point is famous for its lonely lighthouse which is located as if on the edge of the world. You can reach this peace of the beach by foot (around an hour walking) or you can get it by ferry. This is unfrequented sandy beach with clean and clear water and with shallow.

When is he best time to go?

To lay off on the beaches of the mainland, it is best to come in the summer, when a sufficiently warm temperature is settled for swimming. Places like Florida or the Hawaiian Islands are comfortable all year round.
