Hilton Head Island beach
The island is located in Beaufort County in South Carolina. It has a small area, the borders of which are in a mobile state: the shores of the Hilton Head are constantly washed by ocean waters, which is why they change their shape. It is very popular during the peak season: Usually its number is about 30 thousand people, while in the beach season it exceeds a million.

Beach description
Coligny Beach, Folly Field Beach Park, Driessen Beach Park, Burkes Beach, Singleton Beach are pure snow-white sandy beaches on which lifeguards are on duty during the season. They are characterized by low waves and shallow water, so it is comfortable to relax with children here. The territory of the island is well blown by not gusty winds, so that beginner surfers will have the opportunity to practice on low waves.
Other sports enthusiasts will also have something to do on the island. Tennis, volleyball, water polo, golf champions competition at one of the best fairways in the USA - these are just some of the options. In between games and competitions, visit the local natural beauties in the Marine Pine Reserve, and be sure to visit Harbour town Lighthouse, the island's feature.
When is the best time to go?
To lay off on the beaches of the mainland, it is best to come in the summer, when a sufficiently warm temperature is settled for swimming. Places like Florida or the Hawaiian Islands are comfortable all year round.
