Nags Head beach
This beach is located on the North Carolina coast in the city of the same name. It is located on a long sand spit protruding 11 miles into the open ocean. A distinctive feature of this land area is mobility. Regular visitors of the beach note that ephemeral pools can occur here, and sand shifts every year making the 'good old' coast unrecognizable for newly arrived guests.

Beach description
Therefore, it is not surprising that Nags Head is one of the most visited attractions in the area. Many people have a rest here, including families with children, so if you want a quiet holiday, it might be better to look for another place. This is a spacious sandy beach with a flat coastline and gradually starting depth. Strong winds blow in this place, and there is also a powerful surf with high foam waves.
Here lovers of almost any beach sport will feel great: from sailing and kayaking to scuba diving past sunken shipwrecks or hang gliding over the sand dunes of Jockey's Ridge State Park.
When is the best time to go?
To lay off on the beaches of the mainland, it is best to come in the summer, when a sufficiently warm temperature is settled for swimming. Places like Florida or the Hawaiian Islands are comfortable all year round.
