Hanalei Bay beach

The beach is equipped with showers, toilets, canopies, there's a good comfortable parking lot, children and sports playgrounds. Numerous cafes and bars operate on the coast, and loud parties for young tourists are organized in the evenings. You can fish and dive from the pier, partake in snorkeling and watch sea inhabitants (the water is clean and very transparent). There are rental stores with boats and kayaks, as well as surfing and sup boarding equipment.

The surroundings of the beach are very scenic, so it's no wonder that Haruki Murakami lauded it in one of his tales. You can encounter wild goats and buffalos in the mountains, see amazing waterfalls and mysterious caves.

When is the best time to go?

To lay off on the beaches of the mainland, it is best to come in the summer, when a sufficiently warm temperature is settled for swimming. Places like Florida or the Hawaiian Islands are comfortable all year round.
