Kallithea beach
Kallithea Beach is one of the most famous beaches of the Kassandra Peninsula on Halkidiki. It is located near the eponymous resort, whose name translates as "beautiful", which is quite true in relation to the local landscapes. The natural beauties of the surrounding areas give Kallithea a special charm that makes it attractive for lovers and couples.

The long, but not very wide beach of Kallithea is located on the eastern outskirts of Kassandra, in the picturesque Gulf of Toroneos. When first getting here, it’s easy to immediately understand why it was awarded the Blue Flag.
- The entire coastline, like the sea bottom, is covered with soft and incredibly clean white sand.
- The beach is surrounded by coniferous trees and eucalyptus trees, which create a natural shelter from the heat.
- The water here is so clear, that the sand at the bottom seems like iridescent with sparkles in the reflected sunlight.
- The main disadvantage - from the center of the village to the coastline it is necessary to go down on a very long steep stair.
At Kallithea, there are almost never high waves, since the coastline is surrounded by high hills. A sloping slope into the water nicely pleases vacationers with children. When walking along the coastline, it is possible to find many colorful shells, which delights small children.
On the coastline there is usually not crowded. All the party places that, so attract youth, are located 1-2 km from the village. Therefore, Kallithea beach is ideal for relaxing on the coast. This is a great place to relax in silence against the background of beautiful nature.

On this beach you can relax with maximum comfort: rent of sunbeds and parasols is provided, there are located many taverns and bars. It should be kept in mind that most cafes open closer to noon.

- Inside the village close to the beach is an entertainment center where you can play bowling or try karting.
- There is an equestrian club where you can book horseback riding along the beach.

- Many people come to the resort of Kallithea to combine a beach holiday with budget shopping, which is especially relevant in this region of Greece.
- About 2.5 km from the village there is another famous beach of the region - Kriopigi.
- Right near the coast you can admire the excavations of the ancient temple in honor of Zeus and the remains of the sanctuary of Dionysos, which is hidden in a small coastal cave.
