Neos Marmaras beach

Neos Marmaras has the following entertainments:

• night clubs with active PJs and the best DJs in Greece;
• colourful taverns with Greek and world cuisine;
• stylish bars with exquisite drinks and lounge areas;
• shops with fur products, jewelry, souvenirs.

These and other establishments are located in the territory of Neos Marmaras, as well as in its immediate outskirts. As for the beach infrastructure - there are showers, changing rooms, lifeguard towers, toilets, sunbeds and umbrellas.

Neos Marmaras is located in the neighborhood of the same-name city, at a distance of 94 km from the capital of the region. Buses and trains from the city of Thessaloniki come here. Also, it is possible to reach the beach by private transport. The duration of the trip will be 2.5-4 hours.

Useful information: Near Neos Marmaras there is the ancient monastery of Constamonite and the Church of St. Athanasius. Photographers and admirers of beautiful views are recommended to visit the reserve on the top of Itamos - the best panoramas in all of Greece are opened from there.

When is the best time to go?

Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season  begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
