Toroni beach
Toroni is a beach on the Sithonia Peninsula. The beach is divided into central (literally) and peripheral zones. The first are concentrated on the best hotels, bars and cafes. There are many sun loungers, good infrastructure and a large number of vacationers. At the outskirts of Toroni (in its southern or northern part) silence and calm reign. Landscapes deserve special attention - the coast is surrounded by green hills.

The beach has the following advantages:
- warm and clear water of turquoise colour;
- complete absence of waves and jellyfish;
- minimum number of vacationers;
- smooth depth increase and soft bottom;
- a large amount of free space.
Near the beach there are the ruins of an ancient castle. Nearby there is a fish shop, a vegetable market, a large number of hotels of different price segments. Also, water sports and sea excursions are offered to vacationers. The main contingent of Toroni is families with children, young couples, fans of lazy rest.
It is possible to get here by bus from Thessaloniki. It comes 3 times a day. Also the beach is reached by private transport and taxi.
When is the best time to go?
Greece - a country with a long length from north to south, so the recommendations will vary depending on the place where you are going. The holiday season begins in May and reaches a peak in July-August: there are too many tourists, and the temperature on the southern islands reaches 40 degrees, which may still not play a role on the beach, but certainly not suitable for sightseeing. So the best time to relax in Greece is the end of spring-beginning of summer or September-October.
