Bonete beach
Bonete Beach is recognized by the British newspaper The Guardian as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in Brazil. This picturesque place is located in the largest community "caiçara" in the municipality of Ilhabela, which has preserved the richness of its traditional culture.

Bonit Beach is located on the South side of the island and offers beautiful views of the Atlantic ocean. The coastline is surrounded by high mountains with green thickets covered with clean sand and rough bright blue sea. Entering the water is gentle, but the depth is rapidly increasing in a couple of meters from the shore. This part of Brazil still retains the wild beauty that attracts ecotourists, surfers or just those who want to disconnect from the modern world and enjoy a pastime in Paradise.
Access to Bonit is not so easy, you can reach the beach by sea or on foot through a Hiking trail 15 km long. This trail will introduce vacationers to the amazing nature of Brazil, forests, waterfalls and breathtaking ocean views. Even without restaurants and cafes in the vicinity, Bonit is certainly one of the best places to stay in Ilhabela.
When is the best time to go?
The best time to visit Brazil – is in spring and autumn. During this period, mild and dry weather reigns here. In winter, there is heat and heavy rains. And in the summer (from June to August) the lowest temperatures are recorded in the country.
