Meireles beach
Meireles Beach is one of the most beautiful areas of Fortaleza, it is surrounded by green palm trees. Unlike Iracema, this place is popular not only among young people: This beach is often visited by families with children and retired people. It attracts Meyreles with a quiet, serene environment with excellent infrastructure, including bars, restaurants, hotels, entertainment centers, rental equipment for sports equipment, changing rooms, toilets, etc.

Meireles Beach is surrounded with modern skyscrapers and shadowy palm trees. The surprising combination resembles the oasis in a noisy city on the beach of endless bright turquoise ocean. Calm light yellow sands cover the beach with a dense layer. The water entry is smooth and slightly sloping, and the shallow-watered nature of the beach provides the water temperature which is comfortable for swimming, varying in the range of 24-27°С.
The beach is very vast, so it's seldom overcrowded. But even at night, tehre are romantic couples on the beach - they walk in moonlight along the sleepy ocean.
When is the best time to go?
The best time to visit Brazil – is in spring and autumn. During this period, mild and dry weather reigns here. In winter, there is heat and heavy rains. And in the summer (from June to August) the lowest temperatures are recorded in the country.
