Macumba beach
The territory of the beach extends near a settlement called Recreio. The resort got its name because of the local type of religion, whose followers can still be found on Macumba Beach. This place is ideal for surfing, but there are few ordinary vacationers and beach lovers here, since the shore and entry into the water are pretty steep, and the waves in the area of the beach are always strong - to the point that even experienced extreme people advise beginners to find another beach for your practice.

Staying in the beach zone during the day is quite safe, but in the evening noisy young people with alcoholic beverages return from the neighboring resorts, which can cause some inconvenience. Therefore, the best transport to get to the hotel is a taxi.
At the same time, lifeguards and instructors are always on duty at the beach, ready to help at any moment and provide a board for rent. There are several cafes with light snacks in the beach zone. A shop where you can buy water is nearby, and a bicycle is perfect for walking around the beach. In the absence of waves, you can sit comfortably on the sandy beach, and indeed the water around the beach is quite warm, so you can swim, but very carefully, and for a family vacation, it is better to choose another place.
