On weekdays, the coast is deserted, and on weekends Prainja is crowded with vacationers. But swimming here is unsafe due to high waves reaching 10 m, so this beach is very popular among surf lovers. Often in Prainje organized competitions on skating on the board. The shore and seabed of the beach are covered with white soft sand. It is recommended to visit this beach in the morning, because in the middle of the day the sun hides behind the mountains, making it impossible to sunbathe.
Prainha is a favorite place for filming scenes with the ocean in Brazilian cinema due to the beautiful scenery. Often on weekdays on the coast you can meet famous actors. Many locals come to this beach to see their idols and appear in the extras of the movie. The infrastructure of Praigny provides only a small snack bar where you can buy sandwiches and juice.
When is the best time to go?
The best time to visit Brazil – is in spring and autumn. During this period, mild and dry weather reigns here. In winter, there is heat and heavy rains. And in the summer (from June to August) the lowest temperatures are recorded in the country.
