Taipus de Fora beach
Taipus de Fora is considered by many to be the most beautiful Brazilian beach. Its soft white shores stretch for more than 7 km, the turquoise water seems unnatural. This exceptional beauty is located on Marau, on the south coast of Bahia.

Beach description
Low tides form many natural pools near the shore, which are full of exotic sea creatures and plants. A little farther from the shore – a wilderness of vegetation, the biological range of which has no equivalent in the scale of the planet.
Most of not numerous tourists, guided by the time of high and low tides, are engaged in diving. The rest learn to stand on the board, do yachting, surfing and other aquatic activities. For children, Taipus de Fora is the best place to dive for the first time.
Families and lovers of quiet recreation are soaking up the sun on sand. More active ones go for hiking or cycling. Trekking routes around the peninsula include visits to the picturesque hills of Bela Vista, Cassange. Tourists visit the blooming Garden of bromeliads, the famous Blue Lagoon. From the highest point of the peninsula that is located here, Moor do Farol, you can observe many long beaches.
On the west side of the peninsula, travellers come to Taipus de Dentro, a small fishing village, which is also decorated with a magnificent beach, where people watching the charming sunset.
There are plenty of places on the beach where you can have a snack or lunch, have a cocktail, catch the sun, stretching out on a deckchair, or laze in the shade of palm trees and umbrellas.
When is the best time to go?
The best time to visit Brazil – is in spring and autumn. During this period, mild and dry weather reigns here. In winter, there is heat and heavy rains. And in the summer (from June to August) the lowest temperatures are recorded in the country.

- For an ordinary car, the dirt road to Taipus de Fora may not be suitable, especially during long rains. Popular are the famous "jardinieres" that are perfectly adapted to local conditions.
