Ai-Petri Sanatorium Beach

The beach of the Ai-Petri sanatorium, also known as the "Suvorin Stones". This name was given in honor of the St. Petersburg writer Alexei Suvorin, whose cottage was not far from the coast. The beach is located in the center of Feodosia near the Aivazovsky art gallery, a beautiful waterfront promenade and central park.

Beach description

Ai-Petri sanatorium beach is a clean and well-groomed bulk beach of small pebbles of white and light gray shades. Entry to the sea is shallow and gentle, so this place is very popular among families with small children. The bottom on this beach is sandy, clean and flat. The length of the beach is not more than 300 m, and a width is 50 m. The water in this part of the Black Sea is not as clear as on other pebble beaches of the Crimean peninsula, but clear with a beautiful turquoise tint.

The breakwaters installed along the perimeter of the beach calm the waves, therefore the atmosphere on Ai-Petri is always cozy and calm. You can use this beach not only if you are a guest of the sanatorium, but for everyone admission to the territory is free. On Ai-Petri beach, there are changing areas, showers, a toilet, as well as rental points for parasols, sun loungers and water sports equipment.
